The story you tell

What you say is reasonable and less accurate to you.

“I wanna write a book but I have to work to make money and pay my bills first.”

Yourself hears: “I have to create bills and work to pay them”

But what if what you say is about the benefits, the why you do it and it’s less reasonable and more accurate?

“What I do will give me time to write my book”

Yourself hears: “I have to write a book”

Both sentences incorporate a call to action. In the first one, you are doing a job, while in the second you do the work you wanna do.

Change the story you tell yourself and write the book you meant to write, create the business you want to create, do the things you love to do.
