Your product is not your brand

There is a huge difference between creating a product and building a brand.

Products help you do the work while brands help you change the world.

A notebook is a product made to allow you organise your thoughts while Moleskine helps you imagine yourself as a writer or a poet.
A pen helps you write your book while Montblanc helps you compose a manifesto, sign an important document and create your bestseller.

A brand is far and beyond a product. A brand makes people feel significant, gives them hope and makes them want to accomplish something valuable.

You can choose to build a factory that makes pencils or to be Faber-Castell and help the world produce more artists that will change it for the better!
